HC Deb 24 July 1979 vol 971 c112W
Mr. Marlow

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action is being taken to prevent immigrants gaining access to the United Kingdom bearing passports of persons already deceased.

Mr. Raison

I am aware that on occasions people have tried to enter the United Kingdom with British passports to which they are not entitled. Appropriate steps are taken with a view to identifying offenders; those detected on arrival are refused admission and others have been removed as illegal entrants after having gained admission.
