§ Mr. PrenticeNo. We have no plans to negotiate an agreement on social security with the Republic of South828W Africa. A reciprocal agreement on social security normally covers more than just the payment of pensions and is possible only with a country which has a social security system compatible with that of the United Kingdom. Apart from this, present constraints on expenditure restrict our activity in this field.
