asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will sympathetically consider making a grant to the Llan- gollen International Eisteddfod in view of the economies imposed on local authorities and the failure to increase their much needed grants.

Assistance is already given to this Festival through the Welsh Arts Council. The extent of contributions from the local authorities in Wales is for them to decide.
