§ Mr. Hefferasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when Fazakerly hospital, Walton, Liverpool will be available for accident and emergency cases in view of the Department of Health and Social Security's criteria that all district general hospitals should possess an accident and emergency unit.
§ Sir George YoungFazakerly Hospital and Walton Hospital, about one and a half miles distant, together provide complementary parts of a district general hospital service. Full accident and emergency facilities are provided at Walton hospital; there are no plans for such facilities at Fazakerly.
