The third country offer prices are those implied by the EEC Commission's calculation of common import levies as at 25 June 1979 and do not represent the prices at which substantial quantities could be purchased on world markets.
prices set at realistic levels taking account of the needs of efficient producers; better access for food material in which the EEC is not self-sufficient; and fair conditions for United Kingdom producers and processors to compete with those in other EEC countries.
