§ Mr. Alexanderasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now take steps to implement sections 12 and 12(4) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 which give local authorities discretion to waive charges for collecting trade refuse, which were to have been implemented on 1 April.
§ Mr. FoxWe are now considering the implementation of these and other unimplemented sections of the Act, but are not yet in a position to make a statement.
