asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, as representing the House of Commons Commissioners, how many people employed in the service of the House are paid more than £6,600 per annum and how many are paid more than £12,000 per annum.

At the end of the last financial year the numbers of staff employed by the House of Commons Commission who were in receipt of salaries (a) between £6,600 and £12,000 and (b) over £12,000 were, respectively, 71 and 31.
