Mr. Ronald W. Brownasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish in the Official Report his assessment of the effect in monetary terms of his increased VAT proposals on (a) capital expenditure and (b) revenue expenditure undertaken by the North-East Thames regional health authority for the years 1979–80 and estimated for 1980–81; and if he proposes to find the increase directly.
