§ Dr. BoysonIt will be necessary for all consumers to cut oil consumption in order to ensure adequate supplies and the Government are asking local authorities to contribute to the required 5 per cent. saving in the United Kingdom demand for world oil. The Department of Energy will continue to be ready to assist with specific problems of short supply and difficulty.
