§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the closure of centre 535, a truancy school in Dundee, and indicate whether such a closure is in line with the education policy of the Government.
§ Mr. Alexander FletcherCentre 535 is an independent school sponsored by Dundee college of education, but I understand that the college expects to withdraw its sponsorship of the school on 6 487W July. The provision of education for its area, including provision for truants, is a matter for the education authority.
