§ Mr. ShoreThe seven partnerships and the 15 programme authorities in England have prepared their inner area programmes for the coming three financial years. These cover the use they propose to make of the powers under the Act. Of the 43 designated districts in England, nine have so far notified me that they have declared improvement areas under the Act. A further 13 have consulted informally with my officials about possible future declarations.
