§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales when it is proposed to improve and straighten the dangerous bend on the A5 trunk road in the vicinity of Maerdy post office, near Corwen, Clwyd.
§ Mr. Barry JonesThere are no immediate plans to carry out work on the trunk road in this vicinity. As announced in "Roads in Wales, 1978" a route study is currently being undertaken to determine the longer term need for improvement of the A5 between Pentrefoelas and Llangollen, including the section near Maerdy post office.
