HC Deb 22 February 1979 vol 963 c288W
Mr. Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Wales, in view of the fact that the overall effect of the EEC Commission's price proposals, if implemented, would be to reduce the income of United Kingdom milk producers by four pence per gallon, what representations he proposes to make in this regard on behalf of Welsh dairy farmers, bearing in mind that milk production plays a more vital role in the agricultural economy of Wales than in that of England.

Mr. John Morris

All the consequences of the EEC Commission's proposals will be taken into account by my colleagues and myself during the CAP negotiations which have, as yet, barely begun.
