§ Mr. Bagierasked the Secretary of State for Transport by what percentage he expects roll-on/roll-off traffic through the Kent ports to have increased by the end of the century.
§ Mr. HoramTraffic forecasts are not available in the form requested. However, the National Ports Council forecasts that roll-on/roll-off traffic through South-East ports—that is, ports between London and Plymouth—will increase by about 90 per cent. by 1990. A large proportion of this growth can be expected to go through the Kent ports.
