Mr. Newton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the implementation of any award recommended for pharmacists in England and Wales will be made effective from the date of their original claim.

Mr. Moyle

We shall consider what proposals to make about implementation of the recommendations of the independent panel when we have received its report.

Mr. Newton

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will estimate the percentage net profit made by pharmacists in England and Wales in each year since 1972.

Mr. Moyle

I shall write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
