§ Mr. Les HuckfieldThe £10 million programme is part of the £55 million microprocessor applications project announced by the Prime Minister on 6 December 1978. The programme is aimed at raising the level of general awareness and the number of training courses available. Details of the awareness programme490W will be announced shortly. My Department, working closely with the National Computing Centre, has already doubled the number of short microcircuit training courses available for engineers.
