§ Mr. Tilleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what would be the estimated cost of abolishing the cohabitation rule if single person non-householder scale rate were paid (a) to the spouse of all heads of households now receiving the married couple rate and (b) to 50 per cent. of the currently ineligible nonworking spouses of married workers.
