§ Mr. OakesThe value of grants and services provided by the Arts Council, the British Film Institute and the Crafts Advisory Committee to the West Midlands is expected to be about £2.4 million in the current year. This total excludes Arts Council support of touring productions visiting the areas—which is not separately calculated by regions—and local authority expenditure. No allocations have as yet been made for 1979–80.
