§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Trade what steps Her Majesty's Government have taken to limit imports of steel into the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. ParkinsonWe have given full support to the Community's steel anti-crisis measures, which are designed to restore stability to the market and to counter disruptive imports. These include voluntary production and delivery ceilings for Community producers and voluntary restraint arrangements with major third country suppliers. In addition, there are quotas on steel imported into the United Kingdom from the USSR and the GDR.
