§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if, in view of the coroner's findings at the inquest into the fire at Woolworths store in Piccadilly, Manchester, he will issue a circular to local education authorities and schools warning them of the dangers associated with the use of polyurethane foam in furniture.
§ Dr. BoysonThe associations representing local education authorities were amongst those consulted by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trade before he made draft safety regulations on this subject. I do not think that a separate circular is needed.
