§ Q36. Mr. Brightasked the Prime Minister whether she is satisfied with co-ordination between the Department of the Environment and the Department of Employment regarding policies to encourage mobility of labour among council house tenants.
§ The Prime MinisterYes. There is close and continuing liaison between the two Departments. Discussions are currently taking place with the local authority associations as to how mobility of labour for council tenants can be improved.
