§ Mr. Norman LamontI am satisfied that the British Gas Corporation is fulfilling its statutory obligations in respect of new demand for gas. Extension of the gas supply network outside the statutory limit is a matter for the Corporation and I have asked the chairman Sir Denis Rooke, to reply to the hon. Gentleman.
