asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he is now in a position

the revenue costs of projects approved in earlier years. The total value of new projects approved during the four years preceding 31 March 1979 was £2,238,644. This compares with £3,628,656 during the previous four years, which included a special programme of capital grants for nursery and residential provision for children costing most of the £2,394,684 allocated in 1971–72. Holiday projects are excluded throughout.

The sum of £2,238,644 for the past four years includes £926,209 in respect of projects submitted by the following district councils:

to give a date when he will announce his proposals for Welshpool relief roads.
