What were the numbers of horses, ponies and foals slaughtered in each of the five premises located in England and licensed for the slaughter and export of carcases to Europe during 1978 and how the numbers compare with the two previous years.

Statistics of horse slaughterings are not collected centrally. Occupiers of slaughterhouses must supply the appropriate local authorities annually with details of the numbers of horses slaughtered.
