§ Mr. Townsendasked the Secretary of State for Industry (1) how many hours were worked per tonne of crude steel in the following countries' steel industries, 621W arranged in ascending order of hours worked: Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, West Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, for each of the years 1973 and 1978; and what were the percentage changes between those years;
(2) what percentage share of world output in cars, motor cycles, shipbuilding and steel was produced by the United Kingdom, Japan, West Germany, France and Italy in each of the years 1951, 1964, 1970 and 1974 and the latest date for which figures are available.
