Member to annex A, table 2 of Cmnd. 7474 which explains the inter-relationship between the defence budget on national definition, defence expenditure on NATO definition and the "military defence" classification in the national income and expenditure accounts. The "social" expenditure referred to by the hon. Member is included in all three definitions.
