HC Deb 24 October 1978 vol 955 c767W
Mr. David Mitchell

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection whether he has any intention of changing the practice of the Office of Fair Trading so that a person should not be refused credit for an unexpired portion of a consumer credit licence if circumstances cause him to apply for a different licence before the first one has expired.

Mr. John Fraser

This is a matter for the Director General of Fair Trading. I am asking him to write to the hon. Member.
