asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will make a practice of publishing English translations of accident reports published by foreign authorities upon British manufactured aircraft.

In those cases where important matters of airworthiness are involved, I will continue to order the publication in the United Kingdom of English translations of foreign accident reports on British manufactured aircraft, as I did in the case of the HS748 which crashed in Argentina on 4th April 1976, with the agreement of the Government concerned.
