§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, in view of the increased 714W access to international flights from Cardiff (Wales) Airport, and of the total absence of any such facility in Wales, if he will now reconsider his Department's refusal to permit duty-free facilities at this airport.
§ Mr. Denzil DaviesDuty-free stores are already available for sale to passengers aboard aircraft departing from Cardiff (Wales) airport for destinations abroad. The number of international passengers using the airport has, however, not yet reached the level at which the provision of a duty-free shop would be justified.
