§ 24. Mr. Rifkindasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will now consider sending a senior British diplomat to take up permanent residence in Salisbury, Rhodesia.
§ 43. Mr. Gowasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a statement about the strength and status of the mission of the United Kingdom Government in Salisbury, Rhodesia.
§ 46. Mr. Aitkenasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he has any proposals concerning British Government representation in Rhodesia; and if he will make a statement.
§ Dr. OwenI will send representatives to talk to the parties in Salisbury and elsewhere whenever this seems appropriate, but I have no immediate plans for anyone to take up permanent residence.
