The Lord AdvocateI have been working on details of a voluntary small claims pilot scheme and I have consulted interested bodies about the rules of the proposed procedure. I am now in a position to announce that a pilot scheme for claims of up to £500 will commence in Dundee sheriff court on 1st January 1979. This will benefit consumers who wish to pursue their own claims.
