§ Mr. Pardoeasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his estimate of the increase in the volume of imports and exports of manufactured goods in the current financial year.
§ Mr. Healey, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 6th November 1978; Vol. 957, c. 60], gave the following answer
It is not possible to make a reliable estimate of this now. Forecasts of total imports and exports of goods and services to the end of 1979 will be published in the next Industry Act forecast.
