§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsIn the financial year 1977–78 the Medical Research Council spent approximately £70,000 on research into migraine and supported other studies which, though not specific to migraine, may yield relevant information. Other research is being carried out by universities and hospital medical schools, details of which are not available centrally. Relevant work is also supported by voluntary bodies, notably the Migraine Trust.
