§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the total 451W number of houses completed in Scotland over the most recent 12 months for which figures are available, and when house completions were last so low in a comparable period.
§ Mr. MillanThe number of houses completed in the period April 1977 to March 1978 was provisionally 26,110. Completions were last at this level in 1962–63, when much less attention was being paid to modernisation and rehabilitation. I attach a table showing the figures in every year since then:
