§ Mr. Kenneth Clarkeasked the Secretary of State for Trade what agreement has been reached in negotiations between the EEC and Greece on the adoption by 177W Greece of the Community's obligations in the field of external trade relations.
§ Mr. MeacherGreece has agreed in principle to the adoption of the Community's obligations in the field of external trade relations. Negotiations are currently in progress on the terms and timetable. The Greek Government have given an indication of those areas where they want transitional arrangements. Detailed negotiations on transitional arrangements for this sector are just beginning.
