§ Mr. John MorrisUp to mid-April 1978, the Government's measures have benefited about 60,000 people in Wales. This includes temporary employment subsidy paid in respect of some 29,000 jobs. In addition, substantial numbers of jobs 117W have been safeguarded or maintained in Wales by support provided under Section 7 of the Industry Act 1972.
