§ Mr. Bruce MillanThe full recalculation of grant adjustments for 1974–75 on the basis agreed with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, to which I referred in my reply to the hon. Member on 28th February 1978, has now been completed. The adjustments of grant payable to or recoverable from each islands or district council whose area comprised or included the area of the former local authority concerned, in terms of Article 21 of the Demitting Authorities (Closing of Accounts and Payment of Grants) (Scotland) Order 1975, are set out in the following table, which has792W been issued to local authorities in Scotland. I shall discuss the timing and manner of the redistribution of grant with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities on 7th April.—[Vol. 945, cc. 142–43.]
