HC Deb 13 March 1978 vol 946 cc99-100W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a table indicating the precise sums which may be gained or lost by each region in Scotland in rate support grant, as a result of the assessor's revaluation of rateable property in Scotland.

Mr. Millan

Precise calculation of the effects of revaluation alone on the distribution of rate support grant could only be undertaken at disproportionate cost.
