Mr. Woodall

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give the current list of Government shareholdings, apart from those held by the National Enterprise Board, at 28th February 1978, stating: the date shares were purchased, the name of the company, the total number of shares held, the percentage these shares represent of the issued capital of the company, and the cost of acquisition of the shareholding.

Vol. 945, c. 677], gave the following information:

On the assumption that the income from investments was the couple's only taxable income in each fiscal year, the figures are as follows:

for (a) a single person, (b) a married couple without children, (c) a married couple with two children under 11, and (d) a married couple with two children under 11 and two between 11 and 16; taking 1973–74 as 100 in each case.
