§ Mr. John SilkinThe Central Council was set up under the Agriculture Act 1967 and is financed entirely from Exchequer funds. It is estimated that in 1977–78 the cost will be £903,000 and that £913,000—at October 1977 prices—will be needed in 1978–79.
