§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisThe highest salary paid in the United Kingdom Home Civil Service is currently £20,384. I do not have any reliable up-to-date information on the highest salaries paid in the Civil Services of Scandinavian and other EEC countries, but details of the remuneration of senior though not necessarily the highest, civil servants in other EEC countries as at 1st July 1977 may be found in the Commission's Report R/2694/77, copies of which were deposited in the Library on or about 24th November last.
