§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Lord President of the Council if, in view of the implementation of the Boyle Committee's proposals for pay increases for civil servants, he will expedite the introduction of legislation to implement the recommendations of the Eighth Report of the Boyle Committee.
§ Mr. FootLegislation is currently before Parliament to implement the recommendations on pensions made in the Eighth Report of the Review Body on Top Salaries. I look forward to hearing Members' present views on the other issues considered in that report when the House debates parliamentary pay and allowances later in the Session.
