§ Mr. Ovendenasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will specify the precise conditions under which Service pensioners may continue to receive pensions weekly in advance; whether means tests will be applied to those claiming hardship from the changeover to monthly payment; and, if so, what will be the basis for these tests.
§ Mr. DuffyService pensioners may continue to receive pensions weekly in advance if they expresse a wish to do so. Their preference is in no way questioned nor is there any means test.
