§ Mr. TomlinsonThere are eight such appointments—four full-time, one part-time and three on a fee-paid basis. During the year ended 31st March 1978 the total sum paid in salary and expenses for these appointments was £109,016. The numbers and costs of such appointments412W are, as a matter of policy, kept under review and it is expected that the three fee-paid appointments will shortly come to an end.
