§ Mr. MulleyI regret that it is not the usual practice to publish details of NATO force strengths. Since 1973 we estimate that Warsaw Pact main battle tanks deployed in the area covered by the MBFR talks have increased by the order of 1,000, about half of this increase being Soviet.
