§ Mr. GoldingThe full resources of the careers service are available to help school leavers in Ormskirk and Kirkby to find suitable employment. In addition, the Government have asked the Manpower Services Commission to ensure that no school leaver who is still unemployed the Easter after he leaves school remains without the offer of a suitable place in the youth opportunities programme. The area boards which cover Ormskirk and Kirkby are now finalising plans for provision of opportunities in their areas which will ensure that this condition is met.
