§ Mr. TomlinsonThe most recent figure for total British aid to the Sudan in the financial year 1977–78 is £5,164,000. This figure is provisional and may yet increase as final accounts are drawn up. £2,772,000 of this total was capital aid, of which £1,545,000 was in grant form and £1,227,000 on loan terms; £2,392,000 was disbursed in technical co-operation
