§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he proposes that Sections 1 and 2 of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, relating to arrangements for the disposal of controlled waste and waste disposal plans, should be brought into operation.
§ Mr. MarksSection 2 comes into operation on 1st July 1978 by virtue of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 (Commencement Order No. 11) Order 1977. I hope it will be possible to make an announcement about the implementation of Section 1 shortly.
