§ Mr. Leeasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he is satisfied with the effectiveness of his measures to abate the inflow of Japanese electrical goods into the United Kingdom; and if he has any plans for securing the further reduction of such imports.
§ Mr. DellThe British industry, with my support, has held discussions with the Japanese industry about electrical pro-624W ducts such as televisions and music-centres and is meeting the Japanese industry again later this month. I have at present no plans for further action.
