§ Mr. Spearingasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will tabulate in the Official Report the A and B sugar quotas for each EEC country and each French Overseas Department (DOM) producers for each of the last three crop years, together with the respective quantities actually produced and the respective totals.
§ Mr. John SilkinInformation available from Community sources is given below. Production outside the A and B quotas is shown as C production in the table: this sugar must be exported from the Community and does not qualify for export refunds. The B quota was 45 per cent. of the basic or A quota in 1975–76 and 35 per cent. in 1976–77 and 1977–78. Published Community sources do not show production in the French Overseas Departments separately from that in Metropolitan France.
